YSL All Hours Foundation Review - Testing Beauty Episode 29
Testing Beauty! The beauty series that puts all the makeup and skincare products to the test! In Episode 29, we are testing the All Hours Foundation from YSL Beauty.
I have been on the hunt for a foundation that will last in 32 degrees of hot, humid temperature and I know it is. a big ask, but let's see if YSL All Hours Foundation pass this harsh test!
Application and Lasting Power: It is a liquid foundation and fairly easy to apply. A beauty blender is best for full coverage and go with a foundation brush for a lighter coverage. You can certainly build it up and it dried quicker than the typical liquid foundation which is such a blessing in the hot weather so it is less likely to melt down.
I was in the sun, but also in air-con rooms but throughout a 16-hour day, in Sri Lanka, it did not move at all. I have combination skin and in hot weather I love a foundation more matte and dewy and this worked wonders.
Colour Range: Comes in 40 shades and while I couldn't find the perfect shade for my skin tone but if you are more on the fair skin side, there are more options for you. (brown girls: Read the tips and tricks!)
Tips and Tricks: Get the colour that is closest to your natural skin colour and if you find it a tad bit orange on the skin, you can correct this by adding a touch of concealer to the high point of your face and counteract the warm tones with a cool tone blush and a cool tone contour.
Value for Money: I would repurchase!
Final Score: 8.5/10
