Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturisers Review and Comparison- TESTING BEAUTY - EPISODE 19
Testing Beauty! The beauty series that puts all the makeup and skincare products to the test! In Episode 19, we are comparing two new base products from Laura Mercier. They are both tinted moisturizers.
The Light Revealer (in the pink tube) is a natural skin eliminator, and on the black tube is the oil-free version which is in natural skin perfector. Let's see what are the differences, and when best to use them!
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Light Revealer (Pink tube)
£ 31
Application and Lasting Power: It felt lighter. It is your skin but better-looking finish. Light coverage and is great for a no-makeup makeup day. It lasted nicely under the powder. However, the oil-free version has more lasting power than this. This has more brightness, however, and gives you a very natural-looking glow.
Colour Range: It has 20 shades well placed across the skin tones, and if you love one product, you can colour match with the other by using the colour matching charts below.
Value for Money: Standard pricing for luxury base makeup.
Final Score: 7/10
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Natural Skin Perfector (Black tube)
£ 31
Application and Lasting Power: This has a lot more colour pigmentation, therefore, has more coverage than the light revealer. It also lasted longer. It felt more like a foundation, whereas the light revealer felt like a tinted moisturiser. Had a slightly more matte finish.

Comparison
I loved both products. The light revealer has much more natural-looking coverage and is perfect for a no-make-up day. The oil-free version gives you more coverage and has more pigmentation in the product. They blend nicely, incorporate with primers, and sit nicely on top of the powders. They are incredibly long-lasting for tinted moisturises, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they remained on my skin for the rest of the day. Which one you would go for will depend on how much coverage you would like to have.
