I had the amazing opportunity to go this this year's Longines Global Champions Tour in London today on 16/98/2024 with my beloved Longines held at the Royal Chelsea Hospital by the river in Lodnon.
It was a fantastic Summer day and among all the excitement of the day, I absolutely loved wearing a beautiful Longines watch and saw so many gorgeous other time pieces.
Longines has a rich history that goes back to 1832. It was founded by Auguste Agassiz in the peaceful village of Saint-Imier, Switzerland. Initially, the brand was called Raiguel Jeune et Cie, but over time it changed its name to Longines, which comes from "Les Longines" or "The Long Meadows," the place where it all began.
To truly understand and appreciate Longines' lasting impact on the world of watchmaking, it's important to know about its history. The brand's journey from a small workshop to an internationally recognized name shows its dedication to innovation, accuracy, and grace. Longines has continuously raised the bar in watchmaking through significant milestones and groundbreaking accomplishments.
